القدس قصة نزوح عائلة مقدسية من الجالية اليونانيه 

منزل مانوليس كاسوتيس وزوجته فيتسا شتاكلِف
في حي القطمون – يقع المنزل الحجري المكون من طابق واحد في حي القطمون حيث يقع على بعد أمتار قليلة من فندق ساميراميس الذي تم تفجيره في العام 1948- تم شراء هذا المنزل من قبل كاسوتيس في العام 1926 وقد تم تأجيره الى حين الانتقال للعيش فيه في عام 1933. بعد تفجير فندق ساميراميس على يد القوات اليهودية السرية في يناير 1948، انتقلت العائلة مع بناتهم الثلاث مؤقتًا إلى منزل أحد الأقارب الذي كان ضمن المنطقة الآمنة، لكن عندما أصبحت الحرب أكثر ضراوة، فرّ كاسوتيس إلى قبرص على أمل العودة، ولكن لم يُسمح لهم بالعودة أبداً. تم مصادرة المنزل من قبل حارس أملاك الغائبين في عام 1948.
وُلد مانوليس كاسوتيس في جزيرة ساموس اليونانية في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، وجُلب إلى القدس عندما كان عمره 10 سنوات بواسطة عمه البطريرك اليوناني الأرثوذكسي داميانوس. فيما بعد أُرسل إلى أثينا لدراسة القانون وبعد ذلك عاد إلى فلسطين وتولى إدارة مزرعة كبيرة مملوكة للبطريركية اليونانية الأرثوذكسية في قرية البريج، على بعد 28 كيلومترًا غرب القدس. تزوج من فيتسا شتاكلِف من الجاليه اليونانية في القدس في العام 1922، وأنجب الزوجان ثلاث بنات، فاسو وآنا وماري وقد توفي مانوليس في نيقوسيا، قبرص في عام 1971.

Jerusalem – The house of Manolis Kassotis and his wife Vitsa Schtakleff at the Katamon neighborhood- The house was one storey stone building in the Katamon neighborhood located few meters from the Samiramis Hotel – It was bought by Kassotis in 1926 and rented it out before moving to live in it in 1933. Following the blowing up of the Samiramis Hotel by the Jewish underground forces in January 1948, the couple with their three daughters moved temporarily to a relative’s house which was within the security zone, but when the war became fiercer, the Kassotis fled to Cyprus in hope to turn back, but they never allowed to return. the house was confiscated by the Custodian of Absentee Property in 1948.
Manolis Kassotis was born in the Greek Island of Samos in late 19th century, he was brought to Jerusalem when he was 10 years old by his uncle, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Damianos. he was later sent to Athens to study Law and after that returned to Palestine and took over a big estate owned by the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in the village of Al-Bureij, 28 Kilometers to the west of Jerusalem. He married Vitsa Schtakleff from the Greek Colony in 1922, the couple had three daughters, Vasso, Anna and Mary. Manolis passed away in Nicosia Cyprus in 1971 while his wife Vitsa passed away in 1992.
