مشاركة البعثة إلى جانب وزير الفلاحة والموارد المائية والصيد البحري، السيد عزالدين بن الشيخ، في الدورة 49 لمجلس حكام الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية (IFAD)التي انعقدت يومي 10و 11 فيفري 2026 تحت عنوان “الاستثمار في رواد الأعمال الشباب”، بمقر الصندوق بالعاصمة الإيطالية روما.
وقد كان للسيد الوزير، على هامش أشغال هذه الدورة، جلسات عمل مع كل من المدير الإقليمي لشعبة الشرق الأدنى وشمال أفريقيا وأوروبا وآسيا الوسطى ومدير مكتب التقييم المستقل ، فضلا عن لقاءه بعدد من الكفاءات التونسية العاملة بالصندوق مثلت فرصة لتبادل الآراء واستكشاف آفاق التعاون بين تونس والمنظمة ومناسبة دعا من خلالها السيد الوزير الكفاءات التونسية بالصندوق للإسهام في المجهود الوطني للتنمية والعمل على استغلال الفرص للاستفادة المثلى من مشاريع الصندوق واستقطاب التمويلات التي من شأنها تحقيق المنفعة للبلاد.

The Embassy’s participation alongside Mr. Ezzeddine Ben Sheikh, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, in the 49th session of the Governing Council of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), held on February 10 and 11, 2026, under the theme “Investing in Young Entrepreneurs,” at the Fund’s headquarters in the Italian capital, Rome.
On the sidelines of this session, the Minister held working meetings with the Regional Director for the Near East, North Africa, Europe, and Central Asia division, and the Director of the Independent Evaluation Office, as well as meeting with a number of Tunisian experts working at the Fund. It was an opportunity to exchange views and explore the possibilities of cooperation between Tunisia and the organization. The Minister also took the occasion to call on the Tunisian experts at the Fund to contribute to the national development effort and to work on exploiting opportunities to optimally benefit from the Fund’s projects and attract financing that would achieve benefits for the country.
